We are committed to generating economic benefits for our towns of Cornelius, Davidson, and Huntersville by bringing national and regional events to the area and by marketing our destination to the broadest base of potential visitors possible.

Nestled on the banks of beautiful Lake Norman are the towns of Cornelius, Davidson, and Huntersville. These charming towns present a wide array of leisure amenities including upscale shopping, golfing, NASCAR, fishing, and water fun. Located only 15 miles from uptown Charlotte, Lake Norman is THE place for fun in the sun!
Created in 1963 by Duke Energy, Lake Norman is 34 miles long with 520 miles of shoreline and offers numerous attractions to explore. The Lake Norman area offers a mild, four-season climate making it perfect for year-round adventures!
